Landing page builder cost calculator: your bill at your traffic

Type in how many visitors your landers get a month. You see the plan each builder would put you on, what it includes, any overage, and the monthly bill, cheapest first.

By the Lander Report editors. Published 13 October 2026.

Five bars of different heights topped with coins, two with an extra lighter segment for overage, as a flow of visitor dots passes behind them

You pay for every click, and most landing page builders then bill you on what those clicks do once they land: visitors, unique visitors or page views, each against a monthly cap. The entry price on a pricing page means little until you know where your traffic sits against that cap and what the vendor charges past it. Enter your monthly traffic and the calculator finds the cheapest plan each builder offers at that volume, adds any published overage, and sorts the bills from lowest to highest.

The figure covers the software subscription and nothing else. Ad spend, payment processing, checkout percentages, SMS credits, taxes and currency conversion all sit outside it. If you are planning a split test as well, the sample size and duration calculator turns the same traffic into the days a test needs, and the comparison table in our ranking shows which plan each builder's testing starts on.

Estimate your monthly builder bill

An estimate of the subscription alone, from each vendor's list prices and published overage. How it picks a plan is written out below the result.

Visitors a month. For a multi-step funnel, use page views.

At 45,000 visitors a month, paid yearly, with server-side or same-URL testing required, the lowest estimate is Swipe Pages Marketer at $69 a month.

BuilderPlanIncludedPlan priceOveragePer month
Swipe Pages Marketer 50,000 visitors $69 None $69
ElasticFunnels Starter 50,000 page views $78.08 None $78.08
Leadpages Growbilling cycle not stated Not metered $99 None $99
Unbounce Optimize 50,000 visitors $187 None $187
Landingi Scale 100,000 visits $229 None $229

Over the largest published tier

  • Instapage Optimize covers 30,000 unique visitors for $159 a month. Above 30,000 unique visitors Instapage quotes a higher tier through sales and publishes no per-visitor overage rate.

No plan with server-side or same-URL testing in our data: ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, Checkout Champ, GoHighLevel, Kajabi, Kartra, CartFlows, FunnelKit, Builderall.

Notes on each builder's numbers
  • Swipe Pages. Prices are the annual-billing rates. Extra traffic is charged in blocks of 5,000 visits.
  • ElasticFunnels. Counts page views, and bot, datacenter and test traffic is not billed. A multi-page funnel logs more page views than visitors.
  • Leadpages. Unlimited traffic on every plan. Grow is shown at its $99 monthly rate on both billing settings. Pro and Business publish pages but include no A/B testing.
  • Unbounce. Pages keep running over the cap and the overage is billed once for the cycle. Accounts on older plans may have different overage terms.
  • Landingi. Prices are the annual-billing rates. No overage rate is published, so the next tier up is used.
  • Instapage. Pages, conversions and contacts are unlimited, so visitors are the limit.

How the calculator picks a plan and prices overage

Each builder's row in our catalog holds its plans, caps and prices, taken from the vendor's own pricing page, and our reviews and pricing pages read the same rows. For a builder that meters traffic, the calculator tries each plan. A plan whose cap covers your traffic costs its subscription. A plan you would outgrow costs its subscription plus overage, where the vendor publishes a rate. The cheapest of those is the plan you see. Tick the testing box and plans without server-side or same-URL A/B testing drop out before the comparison.

The overage rules come straight from the vendors:

  • Unbounce. Its terms of service have charged $80 since 10 November 2025 for every extra 10,000 visits, and a partial block of 10,000 counts as a full one. Its pricing page adds that pages keep running over the limit and the overage is charged once for the cycle.
  • Swipe Pages. The pricing FAQ charges $5 for each additional 5,000 visits past the month's cap.
  • ElasticFunnels. The pricing table bills extra page views per 1,000, at $1.20 on Starter, $1.00 on Growth and $0.80 on Scale, and never forces an upgrade.
  • Instapage and Landingi. Both publish caps without an overage rate, so the calculator moves you up a tier. Above their top published tier it says what happens instead of making up a figure.

Leadpages states that every plan has unlimited traffic, and ClickFunnels lists unlimited visitors on each of its plans. Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Kajabi, Kartra and Checkout Champ price by contacts or features. For all of these the calculator shows the cheapest plan that meets your testing choice and marks it as not metered. CartFlows and FunnelKit are yearly WordPress licenses, divided by twelve.

Visitors, unique visitors, visits and page views

The caps count different things. Unbounce and Swipe Pages count monthly visitors across all your pages. Instapage counts unique monthly visitors, Landingi counts visits, and ElasticFunnels counts page views while leaving bot and datacenter traffic out of the bill. A buyer who lands on your presell page and clicks through to the order form is one visitor and two page views. For a funnel of several steps, enter the page view count from your analytics. The page-view builders are then priced correctly, and the visitor-metered ones come out slightly high.

Worked example at 45,000 visitors

This is the default in the form and the table above. Picture an affiliate sending 45,000 paid clicks a month to landers, paying for software yearly and running server-side tests.

  • Unbounce Experiment includes 30,000 visitors. The extra 15,000 rounds up to two blocks of 10,000, which is $160 of overage on a $112 plan, or $272 in all. Optimize includes 50,000 and costs less than that, so the calculator puts you on Optimize.
  • Swipe Pages Marketer and ElasticFunnels Starter both cover 45,000 inside their allowance, so neither adds overage.
  • Landingi Optimize stops at 30,000 visits and publishes no overage, so the estimate moves up to the starting price of Scale.
  • Instapage Optimize also stops at 30,000, and anything beyond needs a quote from sales, so it is listed apart with no total.

Untick the testing box and the order changes. Swipe Pages Startup, plus five blocks of overage, comes to $54 a month and undercuts its own Marketer plan, because $25 of overage is cheaper than the jump to the next tier. A capped plan with a published, low overage rate can be the affordable choice even after you outgrow it.

Our take: what affordable means at your traffic

Below a couple of thousand visitors a month, start with the Systeme.io free plan: it limits contacts and funnels, not visitors, and costs nothing. Between 20,000 and 50,000 visitors, Swipe Pages is hard to undercut, and its published overage means a good month will not end in a surprise invoice. Past a few hundred thousand, metered overage piles up quickly. At 300,000 visitors, Unbounce Optimize comes to $2,187 a month by its own overage rule, and that is the point where Leadpages' unlimited traffic or a flat funnel platform pays for itself.

For an affiliate who wants tests, checkout and attribution on one bill, we would put ElasticFunnels on the shortlist. Variants rotate under one URL so the ad keeps its learning, every feature is on every plan, and going past the page-view allowance adds a per-1,000 charge instead of a forced upgrade. It is newer than the platforms it competes with, and there is very little independent review coverage to check its claims against, so until you run real volume through it you are mostly taking the vendor's word. That is the normal position for a platform built since 2023, and its 14-day trial needs no card, which makes it cheap to try on your own traffic.

What this calculator leaves out

  • Contact and email limits. ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, Kartra and Kajabi tier by contacts, so a growing list can move you up a plan at the same traffic.
  • Domains, team seats and automation runs, which several builders cap alongside traffic.
  • Fees on sales. ElasticFunnels takes 0.5% of revenue that runs through its own gateways, Checkout Champ charges 1% of gross sales, and Kartra's Essentials plan takes 5%.
  • Usage billing for SMS, voice and AI on GoHighLevel.
  • Unpublished tiers. Instapage above 30,000 unique visitors and Landingi between 100,000 and 500,000 visits have no published price.
  • A dollar figure for Builderall. Builderall charges in euros and varies its prices by region, so it is listed apart from the dollar totals.
  • WordPress hosting for CartFlows and FunnelKit, and the higher price their licenses renew at after the first year.
  • Everything outside the software: ad spend, payment processing, taxes and exchange rates.

Plan changes are the other cost a calculator cannot see. When Unbounce reworked its plans in 2024, one buyer on r/PPC reported a 121.54% increase for the same plan, a jump that has nothing to do with overage.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a visitor, and what counts as a page view?
A visitor is one person (or one visit, depending on the vendor) in the month. A page view is every page that person loads. One buyer who moves through a three-step funnel can be three page views, so a page-view cap fills faster than a visitor cap on the same ad traffic.
Why did my Unbounce bill jump?
Usually for one of two reasons. Passing your allowance adds a one-off charge for that billing cycle, counted in steps of 10,000 visits. A plan change can also raise the price of the same allowance, which is what buyers on r/PPC complained about when Unbounce reworked its plans in 2024.
Which landing page builders do not cap traffic?
Leadpages and ClickFunnels state unlimited traffic on every plan. Systeme.io, GoHighLevel, Kajabi and Kartra charge by contacts or features instead, and the WordPress plugins run on your own hosting, where the host sets the limit.
What is the most affordable landing page builder?
That depends on your volume. A free or small capped plan wins with a trickle of visitors, the cheaper capped plans still lead around 50,000 a month, and at several hundred thousand an unmetered plan usually beats paying overage. Type your own number into the calculator.
How exact is the estimate?
It is built from list prices and published overage rates, as stored on our builder rows. Discounts, legacy plans, taxes and exchange rates are left out, so use it to plan a budget and to see which plan you would land on.
