Replo review for Shopify ads

A click from a cold Meta ad is landing on a theme product page, and you want that page built without a developer.

Our verdict

Replo is the pick if you run Shopify ads and want an AI agent to build the page, with analytics and a test that starts on its own link. Skip it when the ad has to stay on the live product URL, or when you want the cheapest Shopify page app.

The click lands on a theme page

Your ad is doing its job. The page it opens is a product template, with the menu, the reviews and three other products competing with the buy button. You want one page for that offer, built this week, without opening a theme project.

Replo is a real product for that job when the store is on Shopify and the click can go to a link Replo controls. Replo's homepage describes an AI agent that builds and runs storefront pages, the catalog and the analytics, with integrations that include Shopify, Meta and TikTok. I would start with the free credits if your store is the one buying these ads. Read the PageFly review if the page needs to stay on the product URL you already advertise.

See Replo pricing before you subscribe to a paid plan.

What Replo is on Shopify

The AI agent is the product. It builds storefront pages, and the catalog can be created in Replo or synced from the Shopify store. Published pages are pre-rendered and served from more than 300 cities. Replo says those pages can score 90 or higher on PageSpeed out of the box. That number is the vendor's claim, on the homepage, and it is the figure to check on the page you publish.

Replo's speed article says the app does not add code to your Shopify theme files. Replo pages use Replo's own files and scripts. Everyday templates can stay on the theme. Campaign pages are the ones that move into the app.

The first paid plan includes full analytics. That is the plan where the published page and the traffic report sit in the same product. Unlimited team members are included on that same plan, which is what you need when the person buying the ads is not the person building the page. A setup call is included there too.

I would buy the higher paid plan for the onboarding hours, the founder kickoff and the Slack channel with Replo's team. Analytics are already on the plan under it. Pro also includes ad creative turned into site content, optimization recommendations and recurring check-ins.

Replo pricing

These are the annual prices from Replo's pricing page. The toggle shows Starter and Pro at 17% off the monthly rate.

Plan Credits Sessions Included Annual price
Free 1,000 once On paid plans Try the agent $0
Starter 10,000/mo 100,000 1 domain, analytics, unlimited seats, setup call $99/mo
Pro 50,000/mo 500,000 Ad creative, onboarding, Slack $499/mo
Custom Quoted Quoted Volume limits, enterprise support On a call

I would spend the free credits on one real page from the store's catalog, before anyone argues about Starter. A custom domain and the monthly session allowance begin on that paid plan. Pro is a different purchase: ten hours of onboarding, a founder kickoff, a Slack channel and recurring check-ins, on top of a larger credit and session allowance.

Replo's A/B testing FAQ prices extra test sessions at $1.50 per 1,000 after the Starter allowance, and $1.00 per 1,000 after the Pro allowance. That same table lists Starter at $119 a month and Pro at $599 a month. The prices above are the annual ones. Use the table for the subscription. Take the extra-session rates from the FAQ.

The test needs its own link

This is the regret check. Replo's tests split traffic across URLs. The FAQ says an existing page such as mystore.com/pages/campaign-1 cannot be the entry point. That address can still be one of the variations.

A domain already connected to Shopify cannot host the entry point. Replo's example is a subdomain such as go.shopifyurl.com or try.shopifyurl.com. The ad then points at that subdomain.

Forever Links are the part that makes the subdomain workable. Once an experiment has ended, the same link can be used for the next experiment. The FAQ says the next experiment can reuse that link without further changes to the ad.

You change the ad's destination once. Later tests reuse that address. If a partner account owns the URL, or the ad's learning is too delicate to disrupt, look at a different testing tool.

Leadpages runs server-side tests under one address, off Shopify. Swipe Pages is the fast mobile page for Meta traffic that does not have to live in the theme. Both host the page outside the Shopify app. The rubric behind those picks is on the methodology page.

Replo alternatives

PageFly is the alternative Shopify sellers weigh against Replo. Its pricing page lists the builder from $24 a month, and the free plan publishes one page or section. A/B testing is on the Optimize plan from $39 a month. G2 rates PageFly 4.9 out of 5 from 101 reviews.

A merchant on the Shopify App Store put the two products next to each other:

"the pricing is aggressive. Start with $99 with 10 pages? Pagefly charges at $29."

The $29 in that review is the merchant's figure. PageFly's own page lists the builder at $24 and Optimize at $39. Starter sits well above both. I would pay the difference only when the AI agent replaces a week of building.

GemPages and Shogun sit in the same store-domain lane. Their prices are in the Shopify section of the ranking, next to this app and PageFly. The full ranking is the wider list.

Leave the store only when the page should live outside the theme. Landingi is the lower-priced hosted builder already reviewed here. Every other write-up is in the review index, and the switch itself is ranked on the Replo alternatives page.

What buyers keep reporting

The App Store listing showed 186 reviews, a 4.6 average, and 91% five-star ratings. The written notes do not all sound like that average. Two of them, on the same listing, point opposite ways.

Lounge Wagon wrote:

"Great customer service. Very responsive and teh app works great too!"

Ammpoure wrote:

"One of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Dont bother with them"

A 4.6 average can hide that split, so the written reviews matter more than the stars. Read recent reviews from stores like yours before you trust that average on support.

Getting the page out of the app is a separate problem. On a thread about turning a Replo page into theme code, a Shopify developer wrote:

"Replo does not export clean Liquid by design." Anyone figured out how to convert a Replo page?

A layout you build here stays in Replo's format. If you expect to rebuild the theme later, weigh that limit before the first campaign page goes live.

Capterra lists zero user reviews. The reviews that include a star rating are on the App Store.

My pick is Starter for a store that already spends on Meta, can move the ad to a Replo link, and would rather have the AI agent build the page. PageFly stays the pick when that URL has to remain the product page. See Replo pricing.

What works

  • An agent builds the storefront page and can sync the catalog from Shopify, which is the work a theme project would otherwise take.
  • Starter includes full analytics, unlimited team members and a setup call, so the person buying the ads and the person building the page can share the project.
  • After an experiment ends, the same outbound link can run the next one, so the ad keeps its destination.
  • App Store reviews include merchants who say support replies quickly and the app works.

What to watch

  • The Starter plan costs much more than PageFly's builder plan, and one App Store merchant called the pricing aggressive.
  • A test has to start on a Replo link, on a subdomain. The Shopify URL already in the ad can be a variation inside that test.
  • A Shopify developer says Replo does not export clean Liquid by design, so the layout stays in Replo if you later rebuild the theme.
  • Support reviews on the App Store disagree with each other, and Capterra lists zero user reviews.

Price against other Shopify builders

One App Store review calls Replo pricing aggressive beside PageFly. A later comment calls Replo pricing more reasonable than Shogun. No retrieved thread documents a completed move from Replo to PageFly, GemPages or Shogun.

A missing Liquid export is a ↓ common complaint

A Shopify thread says Replo does not export clean Liquid by design, so a page built in the app does not come out as theme code.

Considering a different app

One shopifyDev comment is considering Instant. Another comment says to avoid Replo and gives no reason. Neither post names PageFly, GemPages or Shogun as the replacement.

Frequently asked questions

Is Replo only for Shopify?
The homepage names Shopify, Meta and TikTok among the integrations. This write-up is for a store that already sells on Shopify. A lander that should live off the store is a different kind of product, and the alternatives section names those.
Does Replo replace my theme?
Campaign pages use Replo's own files and scripts. The speed article says your theme files are left untouched, so the rest of the shop can stay on the theme you already run.
Can I A/B test my existing ad URL without a redirect?
The entry point has to be a link on a subdomain the FAQ recommends. The product URL you already advertise can sit inside the test as a variation. Forever Links are how the next experiment reuses that outbound address.
How is Replo different from PageFly?
PageFly is the cheaper app when the page has to be the store address, and its tests start on Optimize. Replo's case is the agent, analytics on the first paid card, and a test that begins on its own link.
What happens if I outgrow session limits?
Extra test sessions are priced per thousand in the A/B FAQ, on top of the allowance in the plan table. The subscription is the card price. The overage is a separate line, and that FAQ's subscription dollars disagree with the cards.
