People look past Framer when a lead comes back the next morning, when the page has to take payment, or when bandwidth and event blocks start moving the bill. These are the builders I would open next.
Paid plans start at $10 a month. The test stack is Pro at $30 a month plus Convert at $50 per 500,000 events. Open Framer pricing.
Google's campaign editing guide explains what changes when you edit an ad's destination. Evan Miller's notes on A/B tests are why I want the sample size fixed before a test starts.
Our top Framer alternative for most affiliates is Unbounce. I would move a paid lander there when a returning visitor should keep the same variant and the sale happens on another page.
I would pick Unbounce first when the lander is the whole job. I would pick Leadpages when you cannot predict the traffic and the form might be submitted the next morning. I would leave Framer in place for a form page where the design takes the most time and the submission happens during the visit.
Framer's help documentation explains that variants are assigned without cookies, and that a conversion counts only on the day of the visit. A server that picks the variant before the page renders is a different mechanism, which is why the list below starts with builders that document a stickier test.
The switching case
The test sits on top of Pro and bills events, and a media-heavy page can exhaust the bandwidth allowance in days. Both lines are on the pricing page. Read one buyer's bandwidth report.
Up to five tests can run at once, and a conversion is counted only on the day of the visit.
Framer builds an anonymous id from IP address and browser info, and that id resets daily. Compare the vendor's A/B testing description with Google Ads guidance on campaign edits.
I judge each option using two questions before looking at the price. Does a test keep one destination URL, so an ad never has to be edited? Google's campaign editing guide explains what changes when you edit an ad. And does the page match what the ad promised, which Google scores as landing page experience?
I would shortlist the first three, then decide with a real test. Evan Miller's How Not To Run an A/B Test explains why you should fix the sample size before a test starts, and our split test sample size calculator works out how many visitors and how many days that requires.
Best Framer alternative for experiment tooling on a dedicated lander
Starts at USD 29/mo.
I would move here when the lander is the whole job and a returning visitor should keep seeing the same variant. Classic A/B tests start on the Experiment plan, and the sale still happens on another page. See a Google Ads thread on builders for ads.

Grow runs server-side tests and puts the ad keyword in the headline. Traffic stays uncapped on every plan. I would choose it when a lead might convert after the first session the ad paid for. See Google's campaign editing guide.

Starts at USD 29/mo.
Pages are built to load quickly on a cold mobile click. I would choose it when mobile speed is the problem showing up in the ad account, and the order is processed on another system. See Evan Miller's notes on A/B tests.

Starts at USD 99/mo.
Its main strength is matching the page to the ad, with server-side testing on the higher plan. I would pick it when the account runs many creatives and the budget can cover that plan. See Framer's A/B testing article.
