Is GrooveFunnels real, and will you regret buying it?
You have seen the pitch. Lifetime access, pages, email, a checkout, one login, sold hard to affiliates. The useful question is whether the software is real, and whether paying for it now leaves you with a login you cannot open.
It is real. Groove.cm still publishes GroovePages, GrooveFunnels, GrooveSell, GrooveMail and GrooveMember. The homepage is a transition notice: Groove.cm is becoming Scale.gg, current accounts stay available, and the panel for new accounts says enrollment is closed. The pricing page states it in one sentence: "Groove is no longer accepting new customer registrations." The signup buttons go to that update.
Two situations follow from that. Someone who already has an account can keep building. A buyer who is trying to join today, because a webinar still sells a lifetime deal, will not get an account from the public site. If that is you, compare ClickFunnels and Systeme.io before you pay a third party for a Groove login.
Wait for Groove to publish a lifetime price before you treat one as real. Outside write-ups disagree about whether any lifetime plan is still for sale.
What GroovePages is inside the suite
GroovePages is the page builder. GrooveFunnels is the funnel canvas around it. The affiliate page treats the suite as one login: "Bridge pages, pre-sell pages, and review content for every offer," plus GrooveMail for follow-up and GrooveMember when a bonus needs a members area.
On the GroovePages product page, the builder is drag-and-drop, with "A/B test variants from inside the same builder," SEO controls, and AI copy assist. Unlimited custom domains are described as a pairing with GrooveKart. The GrooveFunnels product page adds a visual canvas, one-click upsells, order bumps, downsells, split tests, a built-in GrooveSell checkout, and affiliate tracking on each funnel.
A bridge and a funnel are different jobs. The bridge is the URL in the ad, the page that warms a click before someone else's offer. The funnel is the path after a yes on your own product: the bump on the order form, then the upsell, then the downsell. An affiliate who only promotes a network offer usually needs the bridge. The bump and the upsell matter when you are the vendor and GrooveSell is the checkout.
Treat the test as a variant you build inside the editor. A campaign that must keep a single ad URL needs a builder whose documentation describes that rotation. Groove's documentation calls it a test inside the builder, and gives no further detail.
GroovePages review for affiliates
Affiliates spend their time on bridge pages, pre-sell pages, and review pages. Groove's affiliate page is written for that work, in the same account as the mail sequence. GrooveMember is there when the bonus is a members area, rather than a file you email out.
Groove's cut is tied to its own checkout. The pages FAQ says Groove earns its fee only when the sale happens through GrooveSell or GrooveKart. A bridge that hops out to ClickBank, or to any checkout Groove does not process, never hits that fee. The funnels page repeats the same scope: the fee applies to sales processed through GrooveSell.
If you leave, the pages FAQ says you can export your HTML at any time, and that the content is yours. During a platform move, that export is the copy you can take with you.
If you already publish inside Groove, do two things before the move goes further. Export the page HTML while that export is still offered. And keep a copy of any email sequence you cannot afford to rebuild. A 2024 thread, linked below, is about GrooveMail losing work when you save.
Public comments on the editor are rough, and they span more than one year. On r/GroovePages, one person wrote that "getting a simple landing page up was a complete nightmare." On r/bloggervoice, a commenter who left for Systeme.io called the builder hard to use and the other tool "much more easy and free." Trustpilot reviews of groove.cm include "Extremely buggy and frustrating."
Those lines are complaints from public threads. For a campaign starting next week, use a builder that is still accepting new accounts, then judge the editor on a page you can publish.
GrooveFunnels pricing
The pricing hub does not sell a plan. It tells visitors the signup is shut and sends them to the transition update. Paid tiers are not listed there. If a seller quotes a lifetime price, ignore it until Groove publishes that figure on its own site.
Current accounts sign in at app.scaleplus.gg. That address is on the Groove homepage, beside the note that the account remains available while the move happens in phases.
What buyers keep saying
The affiliate-program post that is still circulating was posted in July 2022 on r/TruthAboutGroove. It says: "As of January 2022, Groove Digital has STOPPED paying out their affiliates." Treat it as one person's account of unpaid partner commissions from 2022. If you were counting on Groove's partner program to pay you for promoting Groove itself, read that thread before you treat an old commission screenshot as current. Network commissions on someone else's offer are a separate payout, paid by that network.
Support is a separate complaint. A review on Trustpilot's UK page says "customer service sometimes takes months to get answers/resolved." A February 2024 thread on r/Groovefunnels reports that "GrooveMail can randomly log them out and lose work when saving an email." That limitation applies to the email editor. Pages you have already exported sit outside that mail editor.
GrooveFunnels alternatives
Groove's compare links name three products: ClickFunnels, Kartra, and GoHighLevel. Those are the peers the vendor puts beside itself.
ClickFunnels is the mature funnel suite when you want the canvas, the bumps and the training library on one subscription. Kartra is the bundle for selling your own offer with email in the same login. GoHighLevel is the agency pick when the pipeline and the texts matter as much as the page.
A buyer who needs a page and a checkout this month has a closer pair. Systeme.io is the free-to-start stack the 2022 commenter said they moved to. Builderall is the low-cost bundle for email, pages and checkout on one bill, if you can live with a rougher set of tools. The cheap landing page builders roundup compares those low starting prices. ClickFunnels vs Kartra, ClickFunnels vs GoHighLevel and ClickFunnels vs Builderall cover the other pairs. The ClickFunnels alternatives page is the longer list if you are leaving a funnel suite in general. The full list of builders is in the main ranking.
Open ClickFunnels vs Systeme.io and choose from those two if you need an account you can create now.
The move for current accounts
Groove says accounts that already exist stay available, and that the move happens in phases. Groove describes the move as a careful transition, and enrollment is closed to new users. The facts page says: "Scale.gg does not claim automatic migration or universal data sync."
Export what the pages tool will give you. The HTML export is the copy you control. Funnels, email sequences and member records are a separate issue, and the facts page makes no promise that they will transfer automatically.
Other blogs give conflicting cutoff dates. The Groove pages reviewed here describe a phased move and do not name a calendar date. What holds up is what Groove itself says: the migration is phased, and existing logins still work.
