The plans
Paid plans bill once a year. Free Basic publishes up to 3 sites with the core builder. Pro Lite is $9 a year for 3 sites on a premium Carrd address, without a custom domain, forms or widgets. Pro Standard is $19 a year for 10 sites, and it adds custom domains with SSL, forms, widgets, custom embeds and analytics. Pro Plus is $49 a year for 25 sites, and it adds advanced forms, redirects, password protection, site files and a canonical URL. Higher site-count tiers on the Pro page go up to 1,000 sites. A Pro trial runs 7 days, requires no credit card, and caps each page at 150 elements.
Is it worth it?
Carrd is the pick if you need a one-page bridge for paid traffic and you can pay yearly. Split tests and funnel steps belong on another builder.
What works
- Paid plans renew once a year, so one presell does not become a monthly builder bill.
- The free plan lets you publish with the core builder without a credit card, which is enough to draft the page.
- The popular paid tier adds a domain you own, forms, widgets, script embeds and analytics. That is where the pixel and the button go.
- Templates are responsive, so the mobile view and the desktop view use the same layout.
What to watch
- Each site is a single page. There is no place for an upsell URL, a blog or a checkout step.
- Pro plans do not include A/B or split testing, so you cannot rotate two headlines on one ad URL.
- Thin affiliate sites are banned, and Carrd may take them offline. A page that is mostly a hoplink is what the policy is aimed at.
- People using it for affiliate work say a single page is a weak bet when the goal is ranking in Google.
