## Which landing page builder fits your traffic: five questions

The wrong builder wastes ad spend, or it cuts off traffic while a test is still running.

By the Lander Report editors. Published 20 October 2026.

Answer where the clicks come from, how many land, what you can pay for software, whether the ad URL has to stay fixed, and whether you charge on the page. These answers leave you with the reviews to read. The [ranking](/best) covers fifteen builders. The other calculators are listed in the [free tools](/tools) hub.

The rules read each vendor's pricing page and the plan, cap, checkout and split-test fields already stored on those rows.

### How the five answers narrow the list

Each answer filters the rows. Yearly prices are checked against the budget band you pick, with the same caps as the [traffic cost calculator](/tools/landing-page-builder-cost-calculator-by-monthly-traffic). When a plan charges overage, it stays only if the total is still inside that band. A test you mark as required keeps plans that split traffic on the server, under one address. If you treat the test as optional, plans without it remain, and plans that split on the server score higher.

[Leadpages](https://www.leadpages.com/product/ab-testing) assigns variants on the server before the page renders, and it states that no plan has a visitor cap. [ClickFunnels](https://www.clickfunnels.com/features/ab-testing) offers funnel-step A/B testing on paid plans that include a hosted checkout. That page does not describe one shared ad URL, so requiring that split removes ClickFunnels. Systeme.io's step tests come off the list the same way.

An [r/PPC thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/PPC/comments/1fa9pfo/how%5Fto%5Fab%5Ftest%5Flanding%5Fpages/) recommends a server-side split so the ad platform is not the one choosing which variant each person sees. The thread also says a second ad, left for the platform to deliver, fails to produce reliable test data. How Meta reviews that kind of rotation is still an open question here. The filter only asks that the address stay the same.

The free band means a published price of zero. [Systeme.io's free plan](https://systeme.io/pricing) allows 2,000 contacts, 3 sales funnels and 1 custom domain, with no card. Ask for that split in the free band and Systeme.io's free plan drops out, because the plan does not include it. A WordPress or WooCommerce answer keeps CartFlows and FunnelKit only. A lead-form answer keeps the builders already ordered for collecting leads.

### Meta ads at 35,000 visitors and about $80

The form opens on Meta or TikTok, 35,000 visitors, the middle budget band, server-side testing required, and a hoplink. The prices below are yearly rates.

[Swipe Pages](https://swipepages.com/pricing/) enables server-side A/B testing from the Marketer plan, at $69 a month when billed annually, with 50,000 visitors included. This volume stays inside that allowance, short of the $5 charge for each extra 5,000 visits. Startup is $29 a month on yearly billing, allows 20,000 visitors, and has no server-side test.

[Leadpages](https://www.leadpages.com/product/ab-testing) includes A/B testing from the Grow plan at $99 a month, and traffic is uncapped. If your ceiling is $80, set Grow aside and line the two subscriptions up in the traffic cost calculator.

[Landingi](https://landingi.com/pricing/) offers the server-side test on Optimize at $119 a month when billed annually, with 30,000 visits included. This volume is past that cap, and the next published tier costs more, so Optimize falls outside the band.

[ElasticFunnels](https://elasticfunnels.io/platform/split-testing) also remains. Starter is $97 a month, or $937 for the year, and every plan runs each variant under one URL. Starter includes 50,000 page views. A single lander at this volume fits, and a funnel with several steps uses the allowance faster. A hoplink sends the sale to the network, so you never open that checkout. Read the note on third-party reviews in the result above before you treat the row as settled.

### What a vendor quiz leaves out

A landing page builder quiz from a vendor recommends that vendor. These answers use the same rows as the ranking, so a new plan price changes which builders remain. Visitors and budget use the caps in the traffic tool above. The [split-testing guide](/best/split-test-lander-without-resetting-ad-learning) is the long version of the server-side question. No server-side test on these rows is priced in the two cheapest bands, so that pair of answers comes back empty. The [cheap-builder guide](/best/cheap-landing-page-builder) is the list for those bands.

### Once two builders are left

Price the builders that are left with the traffic tool linked above. The [sample-size calculator](/tools/split-test-sample-size-and-duration-calculator-for-landing-pages) works out how many days the test must run from your visitor count. The [break-even calculator](/tools/break-even-conversion-rate-calculator-for-paid-traffic-landing-pages) shows the conversion rate your payout has to clear. With two builders left, head-to-heads are on the [compare hub](/compare). ClickBank has a separate section in the [ranking](/best#segments-clickbank), with a recommendation for each situation.

### Where I would start reading

In the example above, I would open the [Swipe Pages review](/reviews/swipe-pages) first. The testing plan covers this volume, and its yearly rate is the lowest of the three. I would open the [Leadpages review](/reviews/leadpages) when I want uncapped visitors. ElasticFunnels qualifies because the yearly price fits and the test is included on every plan. I would read the note in the result before I moved a campaign. The [Systeme.io review](/reviews/systeme-io) is the one I would open when the budget is zero and the test can wait.

### Frequently asked questions

Do the five answers replace reading the reviews?

They decide which reviews to open. Trial length, the cap, and what a plan leaves out sit on the review.

Does every campaign need a test on one ad URL?

Use one when a single ad has to feed both versions. A bridge that only forwards the click can stay a single page.

Why does a WordPress store get a different list?

A store already on WooCommerce is choosing a plugin, and a hosted subscription is a different bill. The first question splits those paths.

When do the answers change?

They change when a vendor's plan price changes on its row. The cost calculator reads that same price.

Is this a landing page builder quiz from one of the vendors?

No vendor wrote the questions. They are editorial rules on Lander Report's rows.
