## How we research

Here is exactly how a ranking on this site is made, so you can judge it. We are direct about what we do and what we do not.

### What we do

We research. For every tool we read what long-term users report in public threads and on review sites, work through the vendor's own documentation, feature pages and pricing, and verify each price directly with the vendor before it goes in a table. We record the date we checked a price, because prices in this category go stale fast.

### What we do not do

We do not run these tools on live campaigns, and we do not claim to. When you read that a builder resets ad learning or caps traffic at a certain plan, that comes from the vendor's own pages and from what users report, not from us buying media through the tool. We would rather tell you where our knowledge comes from than dress up research as first-hand testing.

### What we weight, in order

1. **Testing that protects ad learning.** Same-URL, server-side split testing ranks above any A/B feature that changes the destination and can reset a campaign.
2. **Speed and how fast you can ship a variant.** A slow page loses paid clicks before it paints.
3. **Tracking.** Whether a conversion can be tied back to the ad and the affiliate offer through pixels, CAPI or postbacks.
4. **Total cost at real traffic.** Visitor caps, the tier where testing turns on, and whether the trial needs a card, not just the headline price.

### How we rank

The ranking is ordinal. We give an order and one clear, non-overlapping reason for each place. There is no star rating and no score out of ten, because a number invites an argument over decimals instead of over the reason. Where a tool takes payment matters more than any single feature, so our lists split by whether you sell your own offer or promote someone else's.

### Keeping it current

We revisit the money pages roughly every 90 days and when a vendor changes its pricing or plans. Each page carries the date it was last updated, and the price tables carry the date each price was verified.
