## Editorial policy

These are the rules we hold ourselves to. They exist so a reader can trust a ranking without taking our word for it.

### Rankings are not for sale

No vendor can pay to rank higher, to be added to a list, or to have a drawback removed. Affiliate commissions do not change position or verdict. If they ever did, this policy would be a lie, so we treat it as the line we do not cross.

### Every pick names its cost

A recommendation with no stated downside reads as an ad. So every tool we rank, including the one at the top, gets its real trade-off stated plainly. If we could not find an honest drawback, we would not have researched it hard enough.

### We say where our facts come from

Prices and features come from the vendor's own pages, verified with a date. What a tool is like to live with comes from long-term user reports. We do not present research as first-hand testing, and we do not invent quotes, statistics or experiences.

### Corrections

If we get a price, a feature or a fact wrong, tell us and we will fix it and note the change. Email [hello@landerreport.com](mailto:hello@landerreport.com). Money pages carry a visible last-updated date so you can see when we last checked.
