You already buy the traffic. The choice is between these two hosted builders. With Convertri you pay for the pages and the cart, and the email list stays in the tool you already use. With ClickFunnels, the pages, the cart, email, courses and a community are on one subscription. ### What each plan actually includes Convert is $99 a month. Scale is $199, and Maximize is $299, on the same monthly billing. Convertri lists those three prices on the page where it compares itself with ClickFunnels. The pricing page shows the plan names. ClickFunnels Launch is $97 a month, or about $81 a month if you pay annually. Scale is $197, or $164 on the annual bill. Optimize is $297, or $248 annually. Dominate is $5,997 for the year. Every ClickFunnels plan leaves the visitor count uncapped. If a Convertri account goes over its traffic limit, the company sends an email, keeps the pages online, and sells extra impressions at $30 per 250,000. Launch is the solo ClickFunnels tier: 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, 3 courses, 5 custom domains, 1 workspace and 2 team members. Smart Checkout, email, courses, a community and CRM pipelines are in that subscription, and the company states that you keep what you sell. Convertri's tiers cover the pages and the cart. You pair the funnel with an email platform of your choice. Convertri Convert, Scale and Maximize, and ClickFunnels Launch, Scale and Optimize, each include a 14-day trial. ### Load times for paid traffic Convertri's comparison page shows a Pingdom test run from Washington, DC, in the fourth quarter of 2019\. The same page loaded in 0.518 seconds on Convertri and in 1.41 seconds on ClickFunnels. The timing is the vendor's, on a page they set up, from that quarter. The pages you publish are separated from the builder. Once a page is published, Convertri says the app can no longer edit it. If the builder goes down, the public URL stays up. The editor is a free-form drag-and-drop canvas with layers. After you start a test, inbound visitors go 50/50 between the two variants, and that split runs on its own. In public discussions, Convertri is the one people name for speed and for the monthly price. ClickFunnels is the one they name for info products, for the community around them, and because other marketers already know the brand. The complaints people repeat about ClickFunnels are the price and slow page loads. Some of them blame default scripts they say they cannot remove. The 2019 test timed the same page on both builders. The script comments are about code that ships with a ClickFunnels page. ### The cart, the list and the test Both products can charge the buyer on the page. Convertri's cart supports Stripe, PayPal and Apple Pay, and the cart page lists order bumps, one-click upsells and subscriptions. A bump is an extra offer on the order form. A one-click upsell is the next offer after that payment, without asking for the card again. ClickFunnels includes Smart Checkout in the hosted bundle, on the plans above. The help article says the test splits visitors evenly between two variants. It never says whether the ad can keep one destination URL for both. ClickFunnels compares two variations of a funnel step. That feature page also never says whether the two variations share one destination URL. A media buyer who already pays for email is adding pages and a cart. A coach who wants the list, the course and the community in one login is buying the suite. ### Who should open which trial Start a Convertri trial if you run paid traffic, you need pages and a cart, and you already pay for email somewhere else. Use the trial to learn the free-form canvas before you move a campaign. ClickFunnels is the trial to open when the offer is a course or an info product and the list should live in that same account. Launch is the tier that already includes email and courses, with the caps named above. You still pay for the full suite in a month when all you built was one page.
